Beta status and current limitations

Ballast 0.4.0-beta is available to invited Windows testers. It is pre-release software. Paid plans and referral rewards have not launched. A public website does not mean the application has entered unrestricted public distribution.

Before using the beta

Start in paper mode and review the labeled sample configuration.
Live activation requires current Terms acceptance, readiness checks and GO LIVE.
Current live setup requires Robinhood equity access and an Anthropic API key;

crypto uses separate credentials. Third-party terms, eligibility and charges apply.

Options execution is disabled. Research enrollment into trading is off by default.
Local checks need the computer, app, inputs and broker connection to be available.
Unresolved orders can block later orders, including exits, and may need manual recovery.
Signed update verification is implemented; Windows publisher signing is still pending.
Saved credential protection does not encrypt all trading records or erase older backups.
No return, execution price, maximum loss or security certification is promised.

Continuing work

Broader release requires further Windows acceptance, recovery and operational work. Provider permissions, applicable legal obligations, privacy retention procedures and commercial terms require appropriate review before wider distribution or charging. Disclaimers do not settle those questions.
